Something for sleep besides pills?
Getting a good night’s sleep is a common problem. After several restless nights people start looking for help. They try over the counter remedies from their pharmacy or get a prescription from their doctor. Too often this does not solve the problem and now they are not sleeping and worried that they are getting hooked on pills.
Helen Sayre, LMHC, a therapist at Creekside is offering another way!
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). CBT-I is a talk therapy for insomnia. It’s been endorsed by the National Institutes of Health. CBT-I addresses the underlying causes of insomnia – thoughts and behaviors – and helps patients “unlearn” the negative associations that have led to the insomnia.
Ms. Sayre is accepting new patients now.
Please complete the Referral forms for a new patient appointment or call Ms. Sayre at 850-476-1392 ext. 22 for more information.
